PPA Energy awarded framework contract as one of REMT’s Accredited Specialists

The Renewable Energy Market Transformation (REMT) Project is a joint initiative of the GEF/World Bank, launched to help South Africa eliminate barriers to renewable energy development as the country strives to reduce its GHG emissions. The project has two main components, namely Renewable Energy Power Generation (REPG) and Solar Water Heating (SWH).

As part of providing support to the renewable energy industry, the REMT Project ran a tendering process to nominate a panel of specialist consultants to assist renewable project developers in South Africa.  PPA Energy has been successfully in this procurement and has been appointed, in collaboration with Dewey and LeBoeuf LLP on this project.
